Care

This is without a doubt our main priority at the nursery, the children are loved and cared for as if they were our own. They get cuddles on demand and without exception children at the nursery are extremely happy.

We appreciate each child as an individual and believe that children thrive when they are listened to and respected. Our aim is for the children to have fun absorbing information in an environment where they feel happy, safe and loved.

The nursery has a small, cosy quiet corner where the children can cuddle up and read a book or just relax, they can also sleep here whenever they need to, there are no set ‘sleep’ times.

Nappies are changed whenever they need changing and we are happy to help toilet train your child when (s)he is ready by whatever methods you are using at home – nappy changes and toilet training progress will be recorded on the Daily Information Sheet. All nappies/training pants are to be provided by you, wipes and nappy sacks are provided by the nursery.

Children and their parents will be invited to settling-in sessions prior to starting nursery to make the transition as smooth as possible. Once your child starts the nursery you are invited to stay as long as necessary for the first few sessions, giving your child time to settle in. There is no specific ‘settling in’ timescale as each of the children settle at different rates and often surprise their parents!
